20 Tons Up in the Air – Capsule being Lifted

The bottom part of the capsule was hoisted up this morning, and placed at the center of the EcoWall. You can now begin to get a real impression of the unique and intriguing sight which will be visible to observers from the south of the EcoBuilding. Due to the size and weight of the Capsule (approx. 72 tons, with the bottom part alone weighing about 20 tons!), it will be constructed into the EcoWall in two stages.

We are eagerly waiting (and slightly anxious) to see our future meeting room fully in place.
