The PSES Building was planned by a team of three architectural firms: Axelrod Grobman Architects, Geotectura studio, and NCArchitects

Axelrod Grobman Architects is a collaboration founded in 2003 by architect Irit Axelrod, and architect Dr. Yasha J. Grobman. The firm leads a holistic sustainable approach to architectural design, which combines design innovation with social, environmental and economic factors. The firm's activity includes private, public and commercial construction projects, town planning and development programs. Buildings designed and built by the firm were presented in exhibitions, won awards and were published in trade journals in Israel and abroad.

 

Architect Dr. Yasha (Jacob) Grobman is an architect and researcher. He graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem (1997) and holds a Master of Architecture from the Design Research Laboratory in the Architectural Association (AA) in London (2001) and a PhD from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology (2008). He has been a postdoctoral fellow in Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) (2009-2010). Dr. Grobman has taught architecture design and theory and lectured in the USA, Israel, Switzerland and China. His research concentrates on performance oriented architectural design he use of computers for the design and manufacturing of sustainable and innovative architecture.

 

Architect Irit Axelrod graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in the Technion (B.arch - 1993), with additional studies of Economics and Urban Studies at Tel Aviv University (1989). Architect Axelrod is a partner in Axelrod Grobman Architects and has run a US-based practice in San-Francisco, CA since 2003.

 

 

 

Geotectura studio is an award winning design practice that offers comprehensive services including architecture, interiors, strategic consulting and environmental simulations. Led by Dr. Joseph Cory, Geotectura is known for being creative and innovative while integrating sustainable design principles within each project. Our projects are based on multi-disciplinary research using an open source design approach in order to optimize the best results for each challenge.

Specializing in innovative design, and committed to sustainability, Dr. Cory is the founder of Geotectura office that provides creative and practical architectural solutions to social and environmental challenges.

Born in 1971, Joseph Cory earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Israel Institute of Technology in 1998, where he subsequently also earned a master's degree and PhD in Architecture. Since 2008 Dr. Cory is a faculty member at the Department of Interior-Building and Environment Design at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design. In 2008 Dr. Cory founded Geotectura office, which promotes sustainable design throughout the world. Dr. Cory combines his academic activities and research with an architectural practice that he runs from his studio in Haifa.

Cory's sustainable projects received worldwide recognition in publications, exhibitions and awards.

 

 

NCArchitects is a firm managed by Nir and Nili Chen, graduates of the Technion. The firm specializes in the design of residential, commercial, and public buildings.

Nili Chen Studied Environmental Design at Bezalel (1982) and graduated from the Technion Faculty of Architecture (1988), B.Arch in Architecture and Town Planning.

Accumulated vast experience in planning commercial, office and residential buildings, research centers and laboratories. Accompanies the whole process through to the completion of construction.

 

Nir Chen  ​ Graduated fron the Technion Faculty of Architecture (1987), B.Arch in Architecture and Town Planning. Teaches at the Tel Aviv University Faculty of Architecture and the College of Management.
