Housing
After being accepted to the program, you’ll receive extensive information via email on how to register for on-campus accommodation. The following is an overview of the student housing offered to international students.
On-Campus Housing: Dormitories
TAU offers international students housing in several modern dormitories, all conveniently located within walking distance from campus. Dormitories are divided into studio apartments for singles or two bedrooms shared by two students per bedroom. Each suite is furnished and includes a kitchenette and bathroom. Students who wish to room with a friend may indicate this on their confirmation form.
Graduate students are housed in our recently renovated Einstein dormitories. Each room has a new kitchen and bathroom, air conditioning, and wireless internet. Students wishing to live in a single room are housed in studio apartments in the brand-new Broshim dorms.
To maintain the dormitories in new condition, they are inspected upon move-in and move-out. Any damage caused to the property will be the responsibility of the student.
A self-service laundromat is located directly across from the Einstein dorm complex. An additional one is located in the Borshim dorms complex as well. Additional laundry and cleaning facilities are available in nearby shopping centers.
Please note that the following items are not supplied by TAU:
- Blankets
- Pillows
- Towels
- Kitchen utensils and household goods
See Packing List and Pre-Departure Checklist on the TAU International website for more information on what to bring with you.
Please note that TAU is not able to refund students for early withdrawal from the dorms (See TAU International's Refund Policy for more information).
Living Off-Campus
Most international graduate students choose to live off-campus either in the center of the city or outside of the city. Sharing a standard apartment with one or two roommates, may cost more or the same as the dorms.
