Dr. Michal Gruntman is a senior lecturer at the Porter School's Department of Environmental Studies and the School of Plant Sciences and Food Security. Her fields of research are plant ecology and evolution and she received her doctorate in ecology at the Ben-Gurion University, Israel.
Her research interests include invasive plants, plant adaptations to environmental challenges, such as herbivory, competition or heavy-metal pollution, as well as decision-making in plants.
