Dr. Zvi Baum

Dr. Zvi Baum holds a B.Sc. in Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, M.Sc. in Computer Science and M.B.A. from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and a PHD from the University of Haifa.

 

His research interests focus on the impact of climate change on the water economy and agriculture, electricity demand management in smart grids and the utilization of renewable energy in power generation. Between 2012 and 2017 he participated in policy studies, conducted at the Natural Resources and Environmental Research Center- University of Haifa, on subjects related to the energy market and water economy in Israel.

 

In his past career, Dr. Baum served in various senior managerial positions in the high-tech industry that included, among others, VP and president of a business unit at NICE Systems and a co-founder and Managing Director of a startup company.
