Master's Program Thesis Track (MA/MSc)
A unique program for an interdisciplinary, research focused Master's Degree
The Department of Environmental Studies offers a unique program for an interdisciplinary, research-focused Master's Degree.
The Thesis Track Master's Program is personally adapted to each student, and offers either an MSc or MA degree. Every student undertakes research and submits a thesis focusing on a topic of his or her choice, under the guidance of two advisors (in most cases), each from a different field of expertise, reflecting the department's interdisciplinary outlook.
The program provides a diverse, multi-dimensional environmental education, with in-depth knowledge of issues, including the interfaces between people and their environments, processes in local, national, regional and global levels, new technologies and approaches and advanced research methodologies. The program also includes a hands-on projects module, a module of field visits and the opportunity for a practical internship in environmental and public organizations.
This degree program is taught in Hebrew.
