Green Campus

"Green Campus" status was awarded to Tel Aviv University in 2011 by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, in light of its activity to improve all aspects of environmental conduct.

The authorizing committee noted that it "was impressed by the assimilation and inclusion of many courses on environmental subjects taught at the Porter School of Environmental Studies (PSES), which offers a high standard of post graduate degree programs…". TAU embraces sustainability, and has set a goal of defining the conduct of the university community in a way which would preserve the environment and ensure the welfare of all those who attend its campus.
