Call for Applications for a Scholarship Award for Students at the New Environmental School

Dear members of the New Environmental School,

We are pleased to announce that the school will award full scholarships (100%) — including a tuition waiver — to students accepted into research-based Master’s and PhD programs.

These scholarships are intended to support innovative and groundbreaking research in environmental fields, and to foster a vibrant community of leading researchers from across campus who will advance the school’s academic, social, and global impact.

All students accepted to an MSc or PhD program during the upcoming academic year will be eligible (Initially, one student per advisor will be funded; a second student may be funded depending on availability).

Eligibility criteria:

MSc applicants

must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized academic institution (approved by the Israeli Council for Higher Education) with a minimum final grade of 80.

PhD applicants

must either:

• Hold a thesis-based Master’s degree with a final grade of 80 or above and a thesis grade of 85 or above;

Or

• Be current MSc students who will submit their thesis for review no later than October 2025.

Please note: Applicants must have an advisor in order to apply.

If you know students who meet the criteria, kindly share the attached application form with them.

*Applicants with lower grades may submit a request for consideration by the exceptions committee.
