The conference, held in collaboration with the Urban Innovation and Sustainability Lab at the Dept. of Environmental Studies, had a fascinating lecture by Dr. Roey Tzezana on innovation and current trends. Dr. Orli Ronen spoke about the sustainability needs and challenges of Mediterranean cities and the required collaboration with SME companies, Avigdor Sharon presented the results of the city challenges study with 34 Mediterranean cities. Avi Blau, head of the Afeka Institute of Engineering and Circular Economy, talked about "green" and innovative procurement.
