The Environmental Film Club is proud to present: Sustainable Development Education Projects in Africa

In cooperation with Mashav, the National Aid Agency in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and METC - Mashav Educational Training Center

Wednesday, Nov. 27, 19, at 6 p.m., in the Porter Building Auditorium

A mini-festival of short documentary films on environmental education initiatives in Africa (in English). How, with creative thinking, we can bring about inspiring and radical change.

The screenings will include a conversation with the director, Ran Levy-Yamamori, and a panel of academic experts discussing sustainability initiatives in Africa.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry has facilitated education for the sustainable development of officials in the education systems in Africa, who have led exciting and inspiring educational projects. Of the many ventures, several were selected and documented in short films demonstrating how environmental responsibility can be taken and brought about to improve and save lives with the help of creative thinking and a commitment to sustainability.

Ran Levi-Yammori, a documentary filmmaker and environmental education teacher for 40 years, will present the films that have already received much acclaim at festivals around the world.
